It started as a joke... the players
of the IRC free form roleplay channel #SilverBladeInn
tossing around the names of actors they thought would be
able to play their characters if a movie was ever made based
on the stories played out in channel. That conversation,
combined with Lyssa's complete lack of freehand drawing
skill, led to the "casting" of SBI the Movie. All of the
character portraits were done from photographs of actors and
transformed into the characters with the makeover help of
Adobe Photoshop. We hope those actors we have chosen will
take it as a sincere form of flattery, our characters are
cherished creations and we wouldn't entrust them to just
anyone.
The Inn of the Silver Blade has unfortunately fallen into
some disrepair in the past few years, but it is my sincere
hope that the Inn will again rise to its old glory as one of
the best freeform roleplay channels on the UnderNet.
